The West Virginia Healthy Familes Act is a proposed new state law that would make our state one of the most family-friendly in the nation. The Act would require businesses with more than 25 workers to allow full-time employees to earn up to 7 paid sick days per year. Part-time workers could earn pro-rated sick days depending on the number of hours they work.

We can make the Healthy Families Act West Virginia a reality, but we need your help.

To get the West Virginia legislature to consider this important law, we need to gather as many signatures as possible.

Can we count on your help collecting signatures to make sure West Virginia families come first again?

We even urge Kentucky residents to support our efforts to win passage of the West Virginia Healthy Families Act by also collecting signatures.

So if you're ready to start collecting signatures today to pass a paid sick days law in West Virginia, here's what you need to do.
  • First download the summary document which explains the West Virginia Healthy Families Act.
  • Then, download the Kentucky or West Virginia Petition, depending on where you live.
That's all there is to collecting signatures, so start filling your petitions with signatures today!
